Do I need a broker API key?
It depends on the broker. Brokers like Alpaca and Schwab use an OAuth flow, so you authorize the connection without copying any keys. Others use API keys you generate in your broker account and paste into Tradewink, where they are encrypted at rest. SnapTrade-connected brokerages authenticate through a secure SnapTrade login.
